This feature dataset describes the different soil types. The new detailed soil map of Lebanon at a scale of 1:50 000 was produced during 1997-2006. The 27 sheets were produced by Darwish et al in 2005. They were followed, in 2006, by a commenting book containing information on soil geomorphology, physical and chemical characteristics, and potential use. Soils were classified according to the FAO-UNESCO legend, World Reference Base for Soil Resources and the American Soil Taxonomy.

To use the soil information in analyzing the existing natural conditions and for future management planning.
Soils Service
Chemical content", "Soil Type"
Feature Service
ArcGIS", "ArcGIS Server", "Data", "Feature Access", "Feature Service", "providerSDS", "Service"
[ [ 35.1050764430566, 33.0551740921688 ], [ 36.6226304661316, 34.6917196588079 ]
E308
}
