<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>This feature dataset describes the different soil types. The new detailed soil map of Lebanon at a scale of 1:50 000 was produced during 1997-2006. The 27 sheets were produced by Darwish et al in 2005. They were followed, in 2006, by a commenting book containing information on soil geomorphology, physical and chemical characteristics, and potential use. Soils were classified according to the FAO-UNESCO legend, World Reference Base for Soil Resources and the American Soil Taxonomy.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV> |
